TUBE MP/C

Tube Preamp with Compressor

Find A Dealer

Loaded with options, the Tube MP/C is the most advanced member of the Tube MP family.

Like every Tube MP, its a mic preamp and instrument DI with real tube warmth. It features XLR and 1/4 connections, phantom power, boost, and phase reversal.

It also has a robust compressor. When engaged, the circuit offers variable threshold, switchable fast or auto release times, a switchable slope for compression or limiting ratios, and gain reduction metering.

Unique among the Tube MP family, the MP/C can switch the outputs between line level and instrument level. Line level is typically used when connecting to other recording gear like audio interfaces or signal processors. Instrument level can be used in applications such as sending a recorded DI track back to a guitar amplifier for reamping, or for connecting the XLR output to a mic preamp on a console.

A front-panel instrument input, tube drive and output level meters, and a switchable 70 Hz high-pass filter complete the feature set. Compact and powerful, the Tube MP/C brings the versatility of a channel strip to a convenient desktop format.
