Applied Research and Technology, a division of Yorkville Sound, announces the release of the new ART Trans Y, a two channel solid state compressor/limiter.
The ART Trans Y features a discrete, low-noise transistor audio path using a Field Effect Transistor for dynamic level control, producing incredible detail.
The Trans Y has a unique servo controlled FET gain reduction circuit paired with the detended ratio control to provide reliable, repeatable results every-time. The de-esser will reduce sibilance when compressing vocals and the detector loop with separate input and output jacks will allow for contoured compression.
The ART Trans Y has a 10-segment peak sensitive Level meter which can monitor either the input or the output. Featuring a +4/-10 I/O switch which optimizes the signal to noise for operation with a wide range of equipment and a link for stereo mode to make all channel one control the Master.
The Trans Y is housed in a standard 1u space rack-mountable steel chassis, with high quality components, and is designed for years of reliable operation in the studio, production facility, or on the road.
