M-Six Stereo
Small-Diaphragm Condenser Microphones
The M-Six is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone that is sold as a matched pair for stereo recording.
Compared to a large-diaphragm condenser like the ART C3, it offers improved transient response, a more consistent pickup pattern across the full frequency range, and a neutral, transparent sound that preserves the character of the source. This makes the M-Six an excellent choice for recording piano, acoustic guitar, drum overheads, percussion, and orchestral strings.
Each mic has a switchable pad to handle high volume without clipping, and a three-position high-pass filter that can eliminate rumble and tighten bass response.
The M-Six Stereo set comes in an aluminum carrying case with custom shockmounts and foam covers.
