dADB

2-Channel Active Direct Box

Find A Dealer

The dADB is a two-channel active direct box for connecting instrument, line, or speaker signals to balanced inputs.

The high-impedance 1/4" inputs are buffered and converted by extremely low-noise electronics to deliver isolated, low-impedance outputs. Thru jacks allow the input signal to be sent to an amplifier on stage as well as the XLR output . With an extremely flat, wide frequency response, the dADB is acoustically transparent, even at high input levels.

Both channels feature phase reversal, ground lifts to help reduce hum, low-pass Bessel filters to eliminate high-frequency interference, and up to 40 dB of attenuation.

The active circuitry can operate on phantom power or for over 100 hours on a new 9-volt battery. Active DIs are often a great match for sources like guitars and basses with passive pickups, or acoustic guitars with piezo pickups and no preamp.

The dADB provides a high-fidelity connection to a mixer, PA system, or audio interface, and offers two independent channels with versatile features in a stage-proof steel enclosure.
